Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Cobalt Scout, operated by CvRex ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Cobalt Scout.

The service

Cobalt Scout is a B2B search tool over a dataset of HVAC/MEP and adjacent trades professionals. Search results are masked by default; you spend credits to reveal a person's identity or contact details.

Accounts

You need an account, created via our authentication provider, to use Cobalt Scout beyond the public pages. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity on your account. Access may currently be limited to a waitlist.

Credits and payments

Credits are sold as one-time packs via Stripe — there's no subscription. Credits don't expire unless we tell you otherwise in advance, and they have no cash value. Purchases are final; we don't offer refunds except where required by law.

Acceptable use

You agree to:

  • use Cobalt Scout only for legitimate B2B recruiting, sales, or prospecting purposes,
  • comply with applicable data protection and marketing law (e.g. GDPR, PECR) when you contact someone found through the service,
  • not scrape, bulk-export, or resell the dataset or any data revealed through the service,
  • not attempt to circumvent the credit system or access data you haven't paid to unlock.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Data accuracy

Profile data is sourced from public listings and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Cobalt Scout is provided "as is", without warranty that any specific profile or contact detail is current or correct. You're responsible for verifying information before acting on it.

Intellectual property

The Cobalt Scout product, brand, and underlying software are our property. The dataset is licensed for your use within the service, not for resale or redistribution.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Cobalt Scout, including decisions made based on profile data.

Termination

You may stop using Cobalt Scout at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or the law. Unused credits tied to a terminated account are not refunded if the termination was for cause.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
